Pamela Hall is the Conservative prospective Parliamentary candidate for Liverpool West Derby

About Pamela

Pamela was born in Birkenhead and moved with her parents to Chester as a child.  Strong family ties, her father’s business and a love of Everton FC meant most of her childhood was spent on Merseyside.

Pamela first worked in Liverpool while completing a surveying degree and she worked on refurbishment projects in the City Centre.  After finishing university, Pamela went on to work in Financial Services and completed qualifications in Personnel and Development.  Her natural warmth, empathy as well as Commercial experience has enabled her to achieve a successful career in Human Resources and she has a selfless desire for everyone to achieve their potential and have opportunities to fulfil their ambitions.

In her spare time, Pamela enjoys hill-walking, skiing and running, and is currently training for a half marathon.

Pamela’s Experience

Pamela first joined the Conservative Party as a student and her first campaign was for the 1992 General Election in Chester when Gyles Brandreth was first elected and John Major went on to continue as Prime Minister.   She was then elected as Chester’s YC Chairman, and is now an Area Deputy Chairman.

Pamela has been Councillor in Chester for three years and has a reputation for supporting residents, getting things done in her ward and delivering on the promises she made prior to being elected.  She won her first seat from a long-standing Liberal Democrat Councillor by getting to know and engaging with residents, listening to their issues and ideas and campaigning on local issues important to them.  Pamela is also a member of her local Parish Council and is a School Governor in her ward.  As a Member of Cheshire West and Chester Council, Pamela is Chairman of the Staffing Committee and also a Crime Panel where she ensures the Council, police and other local agencies work together.

Pamela is looking forward to getting involved in West Derby, meeting residents, listening to their concerns and speaking up on the issues that matter most to them.  Pamela believes “the residents of West Derby deserve a Conservative voice which represents their hopes and aspirations of a fairer society and opportunities for all.  I am honoured and excited to be representing the Conservative Party in West Derby and look forward to showing them how we can make a difference in Liverpool.”
